Park Omaha case statement

Over the last decade, parking in Omaha’s urban core has doubled despite more than 40% of jobs relocating from the area. But you’ll be hard-pressed to find a positive comment about the ease of parking in Omaha. Maximizing the use of available parking spaces is critical for this finite area.

Completed in the fall of 2020, an extensive study by Walker Consultants recommended strategies for Omaha’s underutilized parking system. My team analyzed the 100+ page report to distill its most poignant data into an eight-page, compelling case statement for more people places, not parking spaces, to move our city forward.
